Sonic has been the home of an amazing selection of drivers who have started their car racing journey at their team before going onto successful careers – both in Australia and overseas.
The list of drivers that have raced (and won) with Sonic is a who's who of Aussie motorsport.
The likes of Jamie Whincup, Will Davison, David Reynolds, Nick Percat, Cameron Waters and Anton De Pasquale all won Formula Ford championships with Sonic, and have all gone onto incredibly successful careers in the sport.
The team earned its stripes in Formula Ford, scoring a record 14 championship wins between 1998 and 2023.
In 2005, Sonic stepped into one-make Porsche competition and has tasted success at both Carrera Cup and Sprint Challenge levels.
Sonic has won three Carrera Cup 'Pro' crowns, plus three 'Pro-Am' titles. The team has also won a staggering six championships in Sprint Challenge.
